The results of the EKaBio research project were published in the current issue of “Müll und Abfall”. In addition to optimizing the degree of energy efficiency, the project also investigated compliance with new TA Luft limit values for emissions of organic substances.
We believe that the project has delivered very interesting results and offers good starting points for generating even more renewable energy from biowaste in the future. The challenge here is to comply with the emission limits and optimize the energy efficiency.
The research project was carried out in collaboration with RWTH Aachen University (ANTS), the University of Stuttgart (ISWA), PlasmaAir AG, STRABAG Umwelttechnik GmbH and MKW – Materialkreislauf- und Kompostwirtschaft GmbH & Co. KG.
